As you noted it is a big weight reduction and that reduction is on the FRONT of the gun. My gun balances much better now. If you go with Smoke they make two diameters that will fit. Here is a picture of my Sig MPX PCC with a long Smoke composite handguard. I can certainly tell that my transitions will be more quicker with the smaller diameter handguard. Smoke composites sent me one of the 12" M-Lok handguards to review. The first thing I noticed was how spectacular this handguard looked. It has a cool, non-symetrical, look to it.
